‍For years, The Lamb’s Chapel has been a place to belong, grow in faith, and serve our community. Today, as we look toward the future, we are stepping into a vibrant new season of ministry as Legacy Church.

‍Why We Are Changing Our Name

Names carry purpose and direction. As our church and school have grown, our leadership team spent extended time in prayer and reflection asking one essential question: Do our ministries reflect the mission of our church and school?

‍Scripture provides our clear standard in Psalm 145:4: "One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts."

‍When evaluating our public identity, we realized our name needed to clearly represent this shared calling. We chose Legacy Church because a true spiritual legacy is built when our ministries are fully aligned to pass down an unshakeable foundation of faith from one generation to the next. Our new name serves as an intentional commitment to ensure everything we do reflects our core mission: to REACH our community with the love of Christ, RAISE up devoted disciples in biblical truth, and RELEASE equipped leaders to impact the world.

‍A Unified Future for Church & School

‍To fully reflect this shared purpose, our school ministry, currently Grace Christian Academy, will also transition its name to Legacy Christian School starting in the upcoming school year. Furthermore, we are excited to share plans to relocate the school to our primary church campus by the 2027–2028 school year.

By bringing our church and school under one unified name and onto one physical campus, we are strengthening our partnership with families, streamlining our facilities, enhancing campus security, and creating a seamless, multi-generational community where students and families can thrive from K3 through adulthood.

While our name and visual identity are changing, our foundation remains unshakable: our pastoral leadership, elders, core beliefs, worship services, and commitment to biblical truth remain exactly the same. We invite you to step into this exciting new chapter with us as we build a lasting legacy of faith together!
